But First…

Sabbatical Loading

This summer, I’ll be doing another summer sabbatical to focus on my memoir. A bit longer than last year, and with a lot more intention, this summer sabbatical will find me further along in my work yet still trying to balance teaching, writing, and being present for my family and community. As much as I’m looking forward to it, I’m also excited for these next few classes and tour stops.

In the spring, time seems to speed up, and while I try my best to live my life aligned and in the flow, sometimes the push and pull of due dates, travel dates, and event dates get the best of me. These next few weeks are going to be busy, but as I find out more and more each day, when I follow my heart to deepen my connections with my literary community, I can’t lose!

Happy May, y’all. And I hope to see you soon!
