Exciteder Than a Mug

I Think I Like It

It’s 2024! I’m so excited about this year as it’s already bringing abundant opportunities for creativity and community-building! My Novel-in-a-Year course with Story Studio Chicago kicked off this month. I got down with my first workshop with the Orlando Public Library writing crew. Kitchen Table Literary Arts is a Poetry Foundation grantee again! And I’m heading into February with more classes and workshops to connect with more writers and help them with their work.

It’s been really exciting to have so much work out in the world, too. I got essays up at Bellevue Literary Review and Burrow Press Review, and I got a hybrid essay-poem up at Action. Spectacle that got me exploring speculative memoir.

Now, I ain’t turning over tables or nothing, but I am exciteder than a mug! Working with writers, contributing to my literary arts community, and deepening my creative practice? It doesn’t get any better than that!

All in all, my year is off to a wonderful start, and I hope yours is, too!

If you’ve got goals for your writing this year, holla at me on my new “Work with Me” page or catch me at the upcoming opportunities below.
